About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Influence and make an impact on one or more projects or products
Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features
Reduce technical debt across projects or products
Proactively support other team members
Follow team processes and deliver a consistent flow of features to production
Use test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces
Develop APIs, specifications, and data models for frontend and third-party integrations
Design, implement, and maintain data interactions
Optimize data operations for performance and scalability
Ensure data integrity and security
Design and develop user interfaces based on UX designs and customer needs
Contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites

Requirements

What you’ll need

US Citizenship or Green Card only; no sponsorship offered
US Residency for at least the past 3 years
Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation
Highly proficient in one or more technologies within the Software Engineering discipline
Advanced-level proficiency in Java (SpringBoot)
Advanced-level proficiency in TypeScript
Advanced-level proficiency in Angular; React may be substituted for Angular
Experience with Maven
Experience with JavaScript
Experience working on a large-scale system with over 100 users (nice to have)
PostgreSQL experience (nice to have)
AWS knowledge and experience (nice to have)
Camunda experience (nice to have)
AI/ML experience (nice to have)
FHIR experience (nice to have)
