About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the monthly closing process and prepare accounting and management trial balances
- Perform hands-on activities in the Datasul system, including module integration and billing verification
- Perform reconciliations and detailed analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Calculate, process, and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), explaining any variances
- Calculate IRPJ and CSLL under the Actual Profit regime, both annually and quarterly
- Reconcile ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS, and COFINS calculations
- Prepare the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, and explanatory notes
- Prepare ECD, ECF, and IBGE filings
- Perform and supervise fixed asset controls, depreciation, and asset inventories
- Prepare supporting documentation and provide direct assistance to external auditors
- Identify gaps in internal workflows and propose automation or process improvements
- Generate management reports, KPIs, and supporting reports for coordinators and managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CRC registration
- Professional experience in accounting
- Knowledge of the Datasul (TOTVS) system
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of accounting standards (CPC/IFRS)
- Knowledge of direct and indirect tax legislation
- Hands-on, execution-oriented profile
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactivity, autonomy, and a sense of urgency
