About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly valuations of real estate investments across the United States
  • Conduct DCF, sale comparable, and cost analyses
  • Review appraisals and prepare valuation reporting
  • Maintain detailed and complex asset-level cash flow models
  • Review and track business plans, leasing activity, and monthly property operating performance for valuation purposes
  • Analyze market data and comparable transactions
  • Compile valuation data and statistics for fundraising, marketing, DDQs, and ad hoc investor requests
  • Perform additional ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Evaluate investment performance and underwrite periodic real estate investments
  • Report to the Vice President; no direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience in real estate valuations, consulting, portfolio management or audit/accounting
  • Experience with property underwriting and financial modeling
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ARGUS Enterprise
  • Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting or other related fields required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform responsibilities independently and proactively
  • Ability to solve problems and improve processes and/or services
  • Ability to prepare and present information effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required
  • All candidates must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to sit at an office workstation for an extended period of time and frequently operate computer, telephone and office productivity machinery
