About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic capital expenditure (CapEx) and renovation projects across the Belmond portfolio
- Direct internal and external project teams to deliver complex programs on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
- Partner with the Development Team to evaluate potential new properties
- Contribute operational and technical expertise to portfolio expansion
- Champion industry-leading project management practices and design innovation
- Direct and manage project teams while analyzing and optimizing major and minor capital programs, budgets, scheduling requirements, scope, and product
- Create or oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline, with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Assist Project Leads and property Engineers with project delivery
- Lead, manage, and inspire internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee creation of project budgets
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to SLT members, property senior leaders, and line manager
- Conduct regular design reviews, site visits, and inspections
- Travel to properties, suppliers, and consultants when required
- Ensure project deliverables are completed and outstanding issues are resolved
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Fluent in Spanish and advanced English (verbal and written is required)
