Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the architecture, design, and technical delivery of enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations
Define end-to-end solution architecture
Translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions
Provide architectural leadership across Dynamics 365 CE, Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure integration services
Produce end-to-end Dynamics 365 CE solution architecture and technical blueprints
Create High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation
Define Dataverse and Power Platform architecture standards
Develop enterprise integration and API design specifications
Define data migration and governance strategy
Establish security and access management framework
Define environment management and ALM strategy
Conduct architecture governance, technical reviews and design assurance
Perform technical risk assessments and provide architectural recommendations
Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
Lead technical teams and cross-functional collaboration
Establish architectural standards and influence technical design decisions
Ensure successful delivery of complex CRM transformation programmes

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, solution architecture or technology consulting
At least 5 years of hands-on architecture experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE
Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 implementations
Strong expertise across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and Field Service
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform and model-driven applications
Strong understanding of D365 CE customisation and extensibility, including C#, .NET, JavaScript, plugins, custom APIs and PCF controls
Proven experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus
Strong understanding of data migration, data modelling and enterprise integration patterns
Experience defining security architecture, environment strategies and ALM frameworks
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and solution deployment methodologies
Proven ability to lead architecture reviews and influence technical design decisions
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (desirable)
Microsoft Dynamics 365 functional or technical certifications (desirable)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (desirable)
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification (desirable)
