About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, customise, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications
Develop and implement plugins, custom workflow activities, custom APIs, business rules, and platform extensions
Configure and customise Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows
Develop client-side customisations using JavaScript and TypeScript
Develop and maintain Model-Driven and Canvas Power Apps
Design and implement automated business processes using Power Automate
Develop custom controls and components using Power Apps Component Framework
Design and develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and external applications
Develop and consume REST APIs and SOAP-based web services
Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management
Support data migration from legacy applications into Dynamics 365
Develop data import, export, transformation, and validation processes
Manage Dynamics 365 solutions across development, testing, UAT, and production environments
Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control, build automation, and release management
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform deployments
Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimisation
Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments
Investigate technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes
Provide ongoing technical support and application enhancements
Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to development standards
Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable D365 solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
5–8 years of overall software development experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development
Proven experience developing and customising Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications
Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Dataverse
Practical experience developing plugins, custom APIs, and complex business logic
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party and enterprise applications
Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure integration services
Experience with application deployment, environment management, and DevOps practices
Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
Preferred/desirable: Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure
Preferred/desirable: Experience with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF)
Preferred/desirable: Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-enabled business solutions
Preferred/desirable: Experience with Azure API Management and event-driven architecture
Preferred/desirable: Understanding of Dynamics 365 security architecture, business units, teams, and security roles
Preferred/desirable: Experience with automated testing and performance monitoring
