About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Belong's Digital and Technology Strategy
  • Provide digital, technology and data leadership across the organisation
  • Lead the Technology and Digital team across IT infrastructure, cyber security, systems, data and digital transformation
  • Lead organisation-wide digital transformation and change
  • Ensure systems, technology and data are secure, resilient and fit for purpose
  • Improve the use of data, analytics and insight to support decision-making
  • Support the responsible introduction of predictive analytics and AI
  • Advise the Board and Executive Team on technology, risk, investment and emerging opportunities
  • Oversee major digital and technology projects from implementation through adoption and benefits realisation
  • Develop digital governance, cyber security and data protection arrangements
  • Build capability and confidence across the Technology and Digital team and wider organisation
  • Work closely with operational leaders and report to the Chief Finance Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience leading digital, technology or transformation functions
  • Experience developing and delivering digital or technology strategies
  • Experience leading technology-enabled organisational change
  • Experience with IT services, infrastructure and business systems
  • Leadership-level experience with data and analytics
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, Executives or Boards
  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery
  • Ability to communicate complex digital and technology issues clearly
  • Experience in social care, healthcare or another regulated environment would be particularly useful
  • Experience overseeing AI, analytics or major system implementations would be particularly useful
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
