About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the monitoring of judicial and administrative proceedings, particularly in civil, consumer protection, and corporate criminal law matters
- Draft pleadings, notices, legal opinions, responses to official requests, and other legal documents under supervision
- Conduct research on legislation, case law, and legal interpretations to support analyses and strategies
- Assist with handling and monitoring complaints filed with Procon and other consumer protection agencies
- Support relationships with external law firms by monitoring requests, deadlines, documents, and case updates
- Organize documents, evidence, and information for judicial and administrative proceedings and internal investigations
- Support the analysis and review of contracts, terms and conditions, notices, and other legal instruments
- Contribute to identifying legal risks and opportunities to improve internal processes
- Update legal management systems, case tracking controls, and databases
- Assist in preparing management reports, performance indicators, legal provisions, and contingencies
- Support the organization of documents and information for internal and external audits
- Support continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and the use of technology tools within the legal department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Active and good-standing registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Previous experience at a law firm or in a legal department, including relevant internship experience
- Knowledge of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, and Consumer Law
- Familiarity with monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings
- Ability to draft legal documents and conduct legal and case law research
- Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands and deadlines
- Preferred: experience in civil and consumer litigation
- Preferred: basic knowledge of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure
- Preferred: familiarity with fraud-related matters, internal investigations, or corporate criminal law
- Preferred: experience working with external law firms
- Preferred: knowledge of legal management and case tracking systems
- Preferred: experience preparing reports, performance indicators, and legal controls
- Preferred: knowledge of compliance and data protection under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Preferred: experience in financial-sector companies, regulated institutions, or service providers
