About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead purchasing and contracting processes for products and services, from identifying needs through negotiation and formalization
  • Obtain quotations, conduct commercial analyses, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers
  • Develop negotiation strategies focused on competitiveness, quality, timelines, and sustainability of contracts
  • Monitor contracts, commercial terms, price adjustments, and agreements established with suppliers
  • Develop, qualify, and monitor strategic suppliers
  • Conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency
  • Support the planning and monitoring of budgets related to assigned categories
  • Prepare procurement analyses, controls, and management reports on purchasing and supplier performance
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to identify needs and develop new solutions and partnerships
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes
  • Maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers, when applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field
  • Solid experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing
  • Experience negotiating with and managing suppliers
  • Knowledge of cost analysis and budget tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with different departments and organizational levels
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, or a related field (a plus)
  • Experience working at medium-sized or large companies (a plus)
  • Experience with strategic suppliers and more complex contracts (a plus)
  • Experience working in environments with a high volume of negotiations and multiple procurement categories (a plus)
