About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with Bemol’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Governance policies
  • Promote a culture of integrity and best practices
  • Support the Board of Directors and governance structures
  • Develop internal controls
  • Prepare and monitor the Company’s corporate acts
  • Draft and keep internal Compliance and Corporate Governance policies, procedures, and regulations up to date
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date Corporate Governance internal controls
  • Coordinate operational integration with the Accounting, Institutional Relations, and JUCEA/CVM departments
  • Monitor initiatives and requests from the Board of Directors and Advisory Committees
  • Supervise and monitor Corporate Governance agendas and event calendars
  • Collaborate with various Bemol departments and related parties
  • Monitor market best practices, new laws, and regulations applicable to Bemol
  • Propose improvements and innovation to advance technical functions
  • Support the development and execution of the annual Compliance and Integrity Program plan
  • Deliver training and develop communication initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of Compliance
  • Knowledge of Corporate Governance
  • Knowledge of Corporate Law
  • Artificial Intelligence and Automation (a plus)
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Intermediate English (a plus)
