About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop software applications using Node.js, React, and Flutter
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Perform testing and quality assurance of developed features
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Evaluate and integrate AI tooling into the development workflow
Collaborate with team members on technical solutions
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on the technology stack and development best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions
Set technical direction and drive team best practices
Contribute to moderately complex project aspects
Take initiative in problem-solving and solution development
Work independently while maintaining team collaboration
Support project planning and estimation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-6+ years of related professional software development experience
4+ years of hands-on Node.js development experience
3+ years of React.js experience
Experience building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints
Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Understanding of server architecture, middleware, and backend frameworks such as Express.js or Fastify
Dart programming proficiency
Experience with Flutter and cross-platform mobile app development
Understanding of Flutter widgets and state management
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and testing frameworks
Strong full-stack debugging and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with modern development tools, IDEs, and build processes
Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
Experience integrating LLM APIs via AWS Bedrock into production applications
Working knowledge of prompt engineering fundamentals
Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation patterns is nice to have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree
Experience working in collaborative development environments
Demonstrated ability to work on projects with moderate complexity
Desired: AWS Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, microservices architecture, mobile app deployment, Agile/Scrum, open source contributions, technical writing and documentation
