About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Client Services & Deployment Lead and EDI Analyst with integration tasks and audits
  • Compare Workday data reports with API data received by Benefit Harbor
  • Compare carrier file extracts with source data in Workday
  • Monitor and review API success/failure logs and exception reports
  • Confirm scheduled APIs executed as planned
  • Verify delivery of scheduled client files
  • Analyze carrier EDI output reports for data discrepancies
  • Identify and flag issues for resolution
  • Work with the internal team to communicate corrective actions to clients
  • Document processes and findings to support transparency and continuous improvement
  • Assist in testing and validating new file builds or updates
  • Partner with team members during new client onboarding and open enrollment activities
  • Maintain accuracy, integrity, and successful execution of data exchanged between Workday, Benefit Harbor, and benefit carriers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some experience; 1–3 years of experience in a data operations, integration support, or auditing-related role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables, and basic formulas
  • Exposure to CSV, TXT, and XML data file formats and understanding of data flow between systems is a plus
  • Familiarity with Workday reports or EDI transactions, such as 834 files, is a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to define and resolve issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and taking direction from multiple team members
  • Ability to present solutions in a well-organized and clear fashion
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with a sense of urgency and attention
  • Experience working collaboratively as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-intensity business setting

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm, with some flexibility to support clients throughout the continental US
