About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the ERP Team and support ERP clients with carrier file integrations
  • Lead, train, mentor, and manage Client Service & Activation Leads, EDI Analysts, and Admin support team
  • Serve as primary escalation point for internal and external issues
  • Maintain knowledge of Benefit Harbor/BHAI technical and business policies, procedures, and system functionality
  • Develop training opportunities for the ERP Team
  • Monitor team progress through initial system and renewal builds, administrative sites, Benefits Center self-service, and EDI files
  • Develop, document, and execute processes and process improvements
  • Support and lead internal and external stakeholder calls
  • Present, demonstrate, and train stakeholders on implementation timelines and file implementation procedures
  • Lead quality assurance by reviewing requirements documents for system builds and implementations
  • Manage and forecast team resources and develop processes to grow and manage the ERP team
  • Work with ERP partners, clients, carriers, and brokers to confirm benefit plan details and system rules
  • Oversee file testing, track and monitor changes, and present finalized products to clients and brokers
  • Report to the Vice President, ERP Operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and basic functionality
  • Health and welfare knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to define and resolve issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objections
  • Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service
  • Ability to present solutions in a well-organized and clear fashion
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with a sense of urgency and attention
  • Experience working collaboratively and building teams
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-intensity business setting
  • Integrity, reliability, responsibility, strong organization skills, and high attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience in business, preferably in Client Service Management
  • 3–5 years of demonstrated management experience with complex projects in the benefits industry, preferably Health & Welfare, or related experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
