Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with users to gather, analyze, and document their requirements
  • Participate in defining and prioritizing the roadmap for development initiatives
  • Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of technology tools that address business needs
  • Perform validation, testing, and quality assurance of developed solutions
  • Participate in the development of training materials and support the deployment of new solutions
  • Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and activities
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of technology solutions and models for the Corporate Actuarial Vice-Presidency
  • Participate in business requirements analysis and throughout the delivery process for actuarial solutions supporting products across all of Beneva’s lines of business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
  • At least 3 years of experience in insurance and programming
  • Strong interest in programming and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of Python, SAS, and R, or willingness to learn them
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of agentic programming
  • Knowledge of financial services and individual insurance products is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • Working proficiency in English, both spoken and written
