About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle calls related to automobile and property claims for personal and commercial insurance policies across Beneva and L’Unique
  • Initiate the opening of a claim file
  • Collect the information required to assess the validity and current status of the policy, verify compliance with policy conditions, and determine whether the loss is covered
  • Confirm liability and the applicable deductible with the insured
  • Refer insureds to automotive partner providers for damage assessments, repairs, and vehicle rentals
  • Schedule appraisal appointments with insureds
  • Support the Claims department and perform any other related duties or tasks assigned by the manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Vocational diploma (DEP) or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Comfortable handling telephone conversations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
