About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leverage your experience as a Data Steward to support the Group Insurance teams in achieving their data governance objectives
- Act as a key partner to the Chief Data Steward
- Develop expertise in data stewardship and support data value realization
- Ensure that data-related activities are properly conducted and aligned with Beneva’s strategic directions
- Work with data experts across the organization’s various sectors
- Serve as a liaison between the Group Insurance teams and corporate data governance
- Be responsible for a set of data assets and apply data governance principles
- Collaborate on the creation, implementation, and ongoing support of data management policies, standards, processes, and tools
- Organize and prepare periodic meetings with data experts
- Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure that processes are applied within the Group Insurance Executive Vice-Presidency
- Monitor data management throughout its lifecycle in accordance with governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Establish and maintain an inventory of data within the Group Insurance Executive Vice-Presidency
- Define a roadmap for data value realization support activities
- Identify data issues, recommend solutions, and initiate their implementation
- Oversee the management of personal information and ensure its use and protection comply with established policies, principles, and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, actuarial science, computer science, statistics and data science, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of data governance and its application
- Experience with the recognized DMBOK framework
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Ability to interact with anglophone colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers
