About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote BeOne’s Hematology products through calls on targeted physicians in the assigned territory
  • Implement sales, marketing and patient support programs to get and keep indicated patients on BeOne Hematology products
  • Train and educate physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne’s Hematology products
  • Ensure healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning product use with patients
  • Maintain communication and integrate activities with BeOne’s Market Access Team when appropriate
  • Identify customer changes and coordinate communication and planning to allocate appropriate people and resources
  • Complete product knowledge coursework and LMS/Compliance Wire assignments
  • Perform administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information and submitting expenses
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities
  • Communicate proactively with marketing and sales management
  • Support compliance with BeOne policies and procedures, including healthcare compliance, adverse event reporting, and travel and expense reporting
  • Partner with the Targeted Account Sales team and Solid Tumor team
  • Report to the Division Sales Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.A. / B.S.
  • 8 plus years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & sales management
  • Significant Hematology experience; Hematology and/or oncology experience strongly preferred
  • Adjacent specialty experience may be considered, including immunology, rare disease, hospital, infusion, buy-and-bill, or other complex therapeutic areas
  • Self-starting, self-managing independent work style
  • Results oriented with a strategic focus on sales
  • Experience in specialty sales
  • Understanding of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes
  • Experience with national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals and Medicare Part D
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proven track record of use
  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business
  • Proven track record of resilience in the face of challenges
  • Highly skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Expertise in conducting conversations with members of the customer base when stakes are high, and opinions vary
  • Must be willing to travel and work nights and weekends for customer engagement
  • Approximate overnight travel/weekend work is 25%
