About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as Senior Director of BeOne’s Finance transformation initiative for a publicly traded biopharma company
Provide leadership, governance, and execution oversight for enterprise-wide Finance transformation initiatives
Lead zero-based budgeting, data model redesign, financial systems, and global process improvement programs
Develop business cases for new or redesigned operating models
Define, maintain, and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy and budget priorities
Define initiative scope, analytical requirements, sequencing, milestones, and delivery objectives
Manage interdependencies and coordinate cross-functional inputs
Design globally standardized financial processes, governance structures, and operating models
Redesign financial management reports and define and implement allocation methodologies
Steward FP&A processes and financial master data management governance
Drive recommendations for Finance transformation initiatives and ensure implementation of Finance Leadership Team decisions
Develop analytical context and presentations for the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, and executives
Inform leadership about progress, risks, investment trade-offs, and decision-making considerations
Lead and develop team members through objectives, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Oversee external consultants and vendors, including scope definition, deliverable quality assurance, internal integration, and cost management
Develop and deliver financial training and education programs for internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field
Synthesizing and analyzing corporate strategy and related financial implications, presenting to senior management for key decision making
Providing strategic advice for external and/or internal clients in industries including pharma/biotech, technology, and other fast-growth sectors
Working with financial statements and understanding inter-dependencies, including building financial models and economic analysis, break-even analysis, and return on investment (ROI)
Coordinating with and influencing cross-functional teams and colleagues outside the core project team
Managing multiple business projects with independent objectives and deadlines simultaneously
Biopharma industry knowledge
Financial management for a public company, including financial planning, LRP, AOP, reporting cycles, and zero-based budgeting
Leading finance transformation projects involving financial systems, data models, and process stewardship
Cross-functional finance expertise within a publicly traded biopharma company
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable
