About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements across the US, including SaaS subscription agreements, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, product licensing agreements, API and technology partner agreements, amendments, renewals, and terminations
  • Act as a commercial partner to Sales and Finance, providing deal support and strategic legal guidance throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage enterprise accounts across multiple territories, tracking contract lifecycles and post-execution obligations
  • Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and guidance materials
  • Support implementation and ongoing administration of the CLM platform, including CRM and e-signature integrations
  • Deliver training and structured legal education to Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Legal counsel, Finance, and Product teams on non-standard terms, data protection obligations, and security requirements
  • Contribute to process improvement and scale the contracts function as the company grows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in a commercial contracts or legal role
  • Strong track record drafting and negotiating complex, high-value B2B SaaS or technology agreements
  • Deep familiarity with MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs, NDAs, licensing, and related commercial documentation
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional US contracts across diverse markets and legal frameworks
  • Strong commercial instincts and ability to balance legal rigour with closing deals
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging at C-level and with Sales, Finance, and executive teams
  • Experience building or improving contract templates, processes, and governance frameworks
  • Proficiency with CLM platforms such as Rally or equivalent and e-signature tools such as DocuSign
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Legal qualification (LPC, GDL, LLB, or equivalent) or paralegal background
  • Experience in financial services, real estate, or regulated sectors alongside SaaS
  • Experience with GDPR and data protection obligations in commercial contracts
  • Experience supporting or contributing to CLM implementation or migration projects
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Additional European languages are a strong plus
