About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex, large-scale automation projects from kickoff through customer acceptance and closeout
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, vendor performance, stakeholder communication, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, including milestones, resources, budgets, and dependencies
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, roles, and resource needs with cross-functional teams
  • Obtain signoff on baselined scope and control subsequent changes through documented approval and communication
  • Support project estimates during the sales cycle
  • Develop and manage project budgets, update monthly cost forecasts, and review performance with Finance
  • Process and track change orders, monitor potential overruns, issue alerts, and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain risk registers and issue trackers; lead reviews and implement mitigation and contingency plans
  • Develop quality plans and metrics and initiate corrective action when needed
  • Document test scenarios, review them with customers, and track testing through completion
  • Develop volume ramp plans and coordinate readiness for transition from prototype to full-scale production
  • Identify, evaluate, select, and manage vendors including general contractors, riggers, installers, and conveyor providers
  • Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams and maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create communication plans and governance cadence, establish steering committees, lead weekly status meetings, issue weekly reports, and present monthly executive updates
  • Lead and motivate project teams and support Project Managers with scope, schedule, resource changes, risks, issues, and escalations
  • Confirm completion and customer signoff, organize final documentation, conduct lessons learned, release resources, and transition projects to support
  • Improve project management templates and procedures and remain current on robotics and supply chain practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • At least five years of project management experience, preferably in robotics or supply chain
  • Record of delivering complex projects from initiation through completion
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including ability to perform under pressure
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Asana
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Knowledge of quality management, risk management, change control, and issue resolution practices
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
