About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play an active role in the technical development and reliable maintenance of the bus fleet
- Act as the technical liaison between workshops and vehicle and system manufacturers
- Analyze faults and weaknesses and coordinate technical improvement measures
- Support the vehicle systems of the existing fleet and coordinate technical and operational requirements
- Develop and optimize maintenance strategies and processes
- Take full responsibility for warranty, statutory liability, and goodwill cases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree (Bachelor’s or university of applied sciences degree) in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification; equivalent skills and knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience will also be considered
- Fluent German (at least CEFR level C1)
- Knowledge of technical regulations and legislation, including DGUV regulations and DIN standards
- Sound knowledge of maintenance processes, electronic vehicle systems, and systematic fault diagnosis
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence when acting as the interface between vehicle manufacturers and workshops, and when coordinating and aligning concerns and requirements
- A university degree is not mandatory; equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience will be considered
