About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain freight quotes, presenting costs and delivery times according to the needs and urgency of orders, to ensure the best shipping method and delivery within the agreed timeframe;
- Track shipments from dispatch through final delivery;
- Act as an intermediary between the Customer Relations department and carriers;
- Identify and prioritize order shipments;
- Schedule dispatches according to the specified delivery dates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or currently pursuing higher education;
- Specific knowledge: Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills;
- Knowledge of TMS is preferred;
- Availability to work fully on-site at the Distribution Center;
- Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays.
