About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Observe and document legal and business workflows and identify opportunities for AI assistance
- Develop, test, and refine prompts for legal and business use cases
- Assist with evaluations and proof-of-concept pilots for generative AI and legal technology platforms
- Record prompts, test results, limitations, approved use cases, and user feedback
- Assist with scoping, building, testing, and deploying lightweight custom AI agents and workflow automation tools
- Develop and test tools for contract review, research assistance, matter intake, billing, document management, and compliance tracking
- Support low-code/no-code and AI-assisted application development
- Document tool functionality and gather feedback to improve custom tools
- Assist with project plans, timelines, meeting notes, action items, status updates, and pilot progress measures
- Coordinate communications among attorneys, professional staff, IT, information security teams, and technology vendors
- Apply confidentiality, privacy, access-control, and secure AI-use procedures
- Provide day-to-day AI support, triage requests, escalate complex issues, and support demonstrations, office hours, and training sessions
- Create quick-start guides, FAQs, sample prompts, training materials, annotated screenshots, checklists, and how-to documentation
- Provide one-on-one training on AI workflows, prompting, databases, content organization, and legal technology processes
- Coordinate firm-wide AI innovation events
- Build, maintain, and organize content and manage approval workflows and user permissions
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot AI-enabled databases and knowledge bases for legal AI tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Foundational experience using generative AI tools, writing or testing prompts, documenting workflows, or supporting technology-enabled projects in a business setting
- Comfortable using common productivity and generative AI tools
- Able to learn new platforms, follow testing instructions, compare outputs, and document results
- Clear, organized written and verbal communication
- Ability to explain basic AI concepts and support attorneys and staff with patience and professionalism
- Exposure to legal, professional-services, or confidential business environments
- Understanding that sensitive and client information must be handled carefully
- Experience with legal knowledge management, document management, legal research, or productivity platforms such as iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar tools
- Experience supporting training, user enablement, change adoption, or technology documentation
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA
