About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and operate the shared GenAI platform using Infrastructure as Code
Perform platform upgrades, security and access management, day-to-day operations, incident response, and internal team support
Design turnkey infrastructure blueprints with built-in security, observability, and cost control
Ensure end-to-end platform observability, including logs, service health metrics, LLM requests, token consumption, and cost monitoring
Make FinOps a core engineering practice across production, experimentation, and research infrastructure
Evaluate future technologies and platform capabilities through load testing, gateway routing and caching, self-hosted inference, fine-tuning, DeepAgents, and code execution sandboxes
Define problems, evaluate options, and provide well-supported technical recommendations
Collaborate with Architects, Cloud & SRE, Security, and Developer Experience teams
Share technical expertise across the organization
Report directly to the Head of GenAI Cloud Infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years (Advanced) or 5 years (Senior) in Cloud, SRE, or Platform Engineering
Hands-on experience operating AWS in production
Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, and distributed systems running at scale
Experience using AI tools to improve work
Fluent in English
Curiosity, critical mindset, and data-informed technology evaluation
Root-cause investigation and edge-case analysis
Clear communication and collaborative, enabling mindset
Senior candidates: experience driving end-to-end architectural decisions, leading cross-functional technical initiatives, owning key platform domains, and mentoring team members
Nice to have: familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem, Kubernetes (EKS), AWS Certification, and LLM inference and fine-tuning
