About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide clinical therapy services through BetterHelp’s online telehealth platform
Establish a full clinical caseload through consistent referrals
Conduct sessions using live sessions, shared journals, audio and video messages, clinical worksheets, and goal setting and tracking
Focus on clinical work while BetterHelp handles client acquisition, billing, support, and operations
Exercise autonomy over clinical decisions and determine appropriate approaches for each client
Work with clients matching specific areas of expertise and presenting concerns
Use secure, encrypted phone, video, and text-based communication
Manage a flexible schedule and appointment times

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience (Required)
Master’s degree (Required)
Full independent clinical license such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, Psychologist, PsyD, or similar credential
Fully licensed by a State Board to provide therapy independently and without supervision
Experience counseling adults, couples, and/or teens
Private and professional environment for conducting sessions
Excellent written communication
Professional liability insurance
Reliable Internet connection
Currently residing in the US
Must not require supervision to provide therapy services
Interns, substance abuse counselors, school counselors, registered nurses, career counselors, Christian counselors, and business coaches are not accepted unless they have an additional license as a mental health counselor
