About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Customer consulting, structural engineering calculations, and cost estimation at the office in Dittersdorf near Schleiz
- Preparing quotations and structural calculations for roof structures using pre-cut timber and timber-frame construction methods or nail-plate trusses
- Planning and supervising construction projects in compliance with technical and legal requirements
- Coordinating the installation team
- Providing support with technical questions during the construction phase
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in civil engineering, timber engineering, or a related field, or a master craftsman’s or technician’s qualification
- Initial professional experience in the planning and calculation of timber structures
- Good knowledge of relevant calculation and design software, such as CAD and structural engineering programs
