About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a Mid-Level Backend Developer on real-world, high-impact projects.
Develop and maintain backend solutions using .NET Core/C#, Python, and NestJS.
Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
Design and optimize SQL queries and data models, with a focus on performance and troubleshooting.
Develop and integrate microservices, integrations, and messaging systems.
Participate in technical knowledge exchanges, interact with leaders and clients, and potentially transition to new internal projects.
Participate in the selection process, including interactions with the People team and a technical interview with area leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong foundation in programming, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with backend development using .NET Core/C#, Python, and NestJS.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Experience with microservices, integrations, and messaging systems.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Preferred: experience in the financial or commodities markets.
Preferred: experience working with high data volumes and mission-critical systems.
Preferred: experience with AWS (EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, DynamoDB); Azure experience is a plus.
Preferred: experience with NoSQL and relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Preferred: experience with observability, Docker/Kubernetes, and messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
Preferred: experience with LLMs/Amazon Bedrock.
