About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of environments
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor environments and manage and resolve incidents
- Enhance observability and reliability solutions
- Work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to evolve platforms
- Work on projects and outsourcing engagements for major companies in the financial services sector
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience as an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Experience automating processes with Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience working in mission-critical, highly available environments
- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, and databases
- Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets
- AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications
- Analytical and proactive mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Sense of ownership and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work effectively on a team and collaborate with different departments
