About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle all accounting-related aspects of assigned departments, including accounting, outlook/budgeting, and coding AP invoices
  • Maintain and reconcile selected balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare accurate, on-time journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate monthly department outlooks/forecasts
  • Liaise between department executives and the accounting department
  • Support and assist with finance-related IT projects
  • Provide accounting support for ad hoc requests and new business activities
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by management
  • Follow legal policies as directed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior knowledge of GAAP Accounting
  • Senior knowledge of Oracle accounting software
  • 5-8 years accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Budgeting
  • Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • BA/BS in Accounting or related field
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform general office functions
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching are frequently required
