About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in annual budgeting and short-term and long-term OPEX and CAPEX forecasting
  • Lead monthly financial reviews and variance analysis with cost center leaders and project teams
  • Provide Finance partners with current information for upload into the Adaptive Planning System
  • Gather monthly labor allocations across strategic projects and teams
  • Route capital-related labor to the appropriate strategic capital projects with Finance and Payroll partners
  • Collect, clean, analyze, visualize, and interpret monthly loan processing expense data
  • Evaluate internal systems and develop and maintain data-handling, processing, and cleaning protocols
  • Partner with Sourcing Vendor Management, Finance, Business Analytics, and other functions to align financial data and forecasts
  • Build relationships with executives and department leaders and provide financial analysis and recommendations
  • Develop comprehensive technology project estimates with project core teams
  • Streamline financial processes and improve financial decision-making
  • Document and maintain financial Standard Operating Procedures
  • Collaborate with BHG departments to understand priorities and expense-related forecasts
  • Analyze complex financial information, identify trends and opportunities, and advise leadership
  • Complete ad hoc projects as requested
  • Support OpEx strategy, cost control, resource allocation, governance, and process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Finance, Accounting, Business, or related preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting or financial experience, including technology project-based financials and project capitalization rules
  • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience using ERP Financial Systems, especially Workday Adaptive Planning, is required
  • Proven analytics skills, including data mining, evaluation, and visualization
  • Proficiency with Power BI or other data analytics software is required
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% annually
  • Must maintain an in-office presence of at least 2 days per week
  • Must already possess valid U.S. work authorization that will not require employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Exceptional written, verbal, communication, presentation, and active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain organized systems and processes
  • Ability to support continuous process improvement
