About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop robust, scalable, high-performance backend solutions capable of handling high concurrency
- Analyze and translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications
- Implement and maintain distributed microservices with horizontal scalability
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including designs, APIs, workflows, and manuals
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests
- Implement functional and load testing routines for microservices
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to established best practices and standards
- Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance of solutions
- Troubleshoot complex incidents in distributed environments
- Collaborate with the engineering team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous technical growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Intermediate or advanced Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in backend development
- Experience building distributed microservices
- Experience with containers (Docker) and scalable architectures
- Strong knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with version control using Git
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
- Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger / OpenAPI or similar)
- Nice to have: experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Nice to have: experience in high-concurrency, high-volume transaction environments
- Nice to have: basic frontend knowledge (React or Angular)
- Nice to have: experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, MQTT, AMQP)
- Nice to have: experience with agile development methodologies
- Nice to have: previous experience with global projects or international integrations
