About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate actively in design review of test equipment with approved suppliers
  • Take part in external and internal acceptance and integration in production of test equipment for new projects
  • Communicate with AUO teams and test equipment suppliers to organize and facilitate equipment installation, commissioning and optimization
  • Track quality, effectiveness and efficiency of new test equipment during the launch phase
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date project documentation during the launch phase
  • Prepare plans and checklists for preventive maintenance
  • Organize supplier training on the equipment
  • Provide subsequent training and technical guidance to team members
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for test equipment in the production area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education – bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation or other relevant
  • Work experience of servicing and fault finding in electronic/electrical equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Experience with electronic measurement equipment (eg. multimeter)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • PC literacy - MS Office
  • Experience in pneumatic systems and PLC-controllers is an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge of industrial automation is an advantage
