About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain the general ledgers for the group’s entities, including bank transactions, miscellaneous operations, fixed assets, foreign exchange differences, and exceptional transactions
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including account reconciliation and matching, adjustments, provisions, and month-end journal entries
Prepare tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, company vehicle tax, CVAE, and other applicable filings
Prepare financial statements and tax packages in collaboration with the manager
Record bank transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and review the trial balance and general ledger
Contribute to improving accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Independently manage a portfolio of entities in collaboration with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams
Calculate taxable income
Serve as the primary point of contact for statutory auditors for the assigned portfolio
Support the Group’s entire scope of operations in France and internationally as the business develops
Work as part of a team of eight employees under the supervision of the Accounting Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree equivalent to two years of higher education (Bac +2) in Accounting, Management, or Finance
BTS in Accounting and Management, DUT in Business and Administrative Management (GEA), or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in general accounting within an in-house accounting department
Meticulous and detail-oriented approach
Team spirit
Enthusiasm for contributing to the growth and expansion of a group
