About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop software and contribute to new features and technical solutions from an early stage
- Take increasing ownership of software solutions, integrations and the overall technical environment
- Understand how applications, SQL databases, REST/XML integrations and data transfers work together
- Solve technical challenges across system boundaries
- Work closely with software and engineering specialists, sales and service teams, customer IT departments, ERP consultants and other partners
- Handle integrations, technical configurations, testing and documentation
- Provide technical support and help customers and partners investigate and resolve issues
- Deliver demonstrations, training and technical guidance for internal teams, customers and partners in Finland and internationally
- Maintain and further develop the Delphi-based TCPlus solution
- Review, test and understand code produced by approved AI-assisted development tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and internationally connected teams
- Occasionally travel in Finland and abroad
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of relevant experience in software development
- Solid hands-on background in software development
- Experience with system integrations, technical problem solving or customer-facing technical work is valuable
- Suitable educational background in information technology, software development or another relevant field, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience
- Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with modern software development
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js and React, or comparable modern technologies
- Strong SQL and relational database expertise
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations
- Ability to investigate technical problems across system boundaries and find practical solutions
- Experience with warehouse management, logistics or ERP systems is advantageous
- Ability to take technical ownership beyond individual development tasks
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to document work clearly and approach technical challenges proactively and systematically
- Solution-oriented, collaborative and eager to learn new technologies
- Fluent English required
- Finnish is considered an advantage
- Willingness to learn Delphi and understand established systems
- Experience with Delphi, Azure, Docker, CI/CD, ERP integrations, warehouse automation and AI-assisted development tools is advantageous
- Willingness to travel occasionally in Finland and abroad, estimated at a few days monthly
