About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop lasting relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, assisted living communities, case managers, and other referral partners
- Maintain regular face-to-face contact with referral sources
- Identify new partnership opportunities
- Strengthen existing referral relationships
- Represent Billet Health at community and professional events
- Educate referral partners about hospice services
- Meet with patients, families, and caregivers to provide information about hospice and available resources
- Help families understand the role and benefits of hospice
- Work closely with the clinical team to support appropriate transitions of care
- Maintain strong communication throughout the referral process
- Plan outreach and manage the assigned territory and pipeline
- Identify opportunities and work toward established business-development goals
- Develop referral activity, support admissions growth, maintain partner communication, and contribute to assigned-territory growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of hospice marketing experience, or relevant healthcare sales experience with strong hospice knowledge
- Established referral relationships within the Albuquerque healthcare community
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of Medicare hospice guidelines and eligibility
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance
- Self-motivated and organized
- Comfortable managing an independent territory
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Preferred: SNF, ALF, hospital, or physician-office marketing experience
- Preferred: Proven referral-generation results
- Preferred: EMR/CRM experience
