About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive regional growth and expand adoption of BillionToOne's UNITY™ prenatal screening platform across an assigned region.
  • Develop and execute regional account plans to increase adoption and utilization of UNITY™ across assigned regional health systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, practice administrators, health system stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and secure new business within assigned regional accounts.
  • Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to support customer onboarding and implementation across EMR and phlebotomy enablers.
  • Conduct business reviews and maintain regular customer communication to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Analyze account performance and territory data to prioritize opportunities and maximize regional sales results.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Maintain customer information, sales activities, and pipeline within CRM tools.
  • Represent BillionToOne at customer meetings, regional conferences, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or account management experience within diagnostics, genomics, molecular diagnostics or women's health.
  • Experience calling on hospitals, health systems, IDNs, or large physician practices within assigned region preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze territory performance and prioritize opportunities to drive growth.
  • Working knowledge of the diagnostic reimbursement and healthcare delivery environment is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned region.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience in prenatal diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, women's health, or genomics is a nice-to-have.
  • Clinical laboratory experience or familiarity with laboratory operations is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience managing complex healthcare accounts and cross-functional customer relationships is a nice-to-have.
