About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with development and implementation of the global Compliance Risk Management Program.
- Assist with annual Anti-Financial Crime EWRA, using AI/GenAI tooling where appropriate while preserving methodological rigour, defensibility, and audit trails.
- Lead risk assessments for additional Financial Crime segments, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, and Market Abuse.
- Participate in Product Risk Assessments for new, changing, or existing products.
- Document and maintain control inventories, regulatory adherence, and alignment with policy frameworks.
- Collaborate globally to ensure risk assessment methodology and execution meet expectations.
- Support development and management of compliance policies, procedures, processes, and the Compliance Risk control environment.
- Assist with Compliance Risk Management framework pillars, including AML/CFT horizon scanning, regulatory perimeter, and regulatory-change impact assessments.
- Embed AI-enabled techniques into EWRA workstreams under human-in-the-loop review, ensuring validated, source-traceable, defensible outputs.
- Develop management information on Compliance Risk insights and performance.
- Produce MI/metrics for senior management on heightened risks and AFC EWRA recommendations.
- Monitor and report RAS KRIs, providing recommendations when risk levels exceed appetite.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in business management, finance, or economics.
- Advanced professional risk certificate is preferred (e.g. CAMS-RM).
- 5+ years as a compliance professional in a regulated financial services environment; Crypto industry experience is preferred.
- 2+ years of direct experience in Compliance Risk and EWRA implementation.
- Practical AI and GenAI literacy, including prompt engineering, tool selection, output validation, and understanding of model limitations and hallucination risk in a compliance context.
- Familiarity with AI governance and Responsible AI principles, including bias, explainability, auditability, and model risk, and their application to compliance and risk assessment workflows.
- Data literacy sufficient to interrogate, stress-test, and evidence AI-generated outputs before reliance in a risk assessment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organisation while maintaining close contact with relevant teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts for a diverse audience.
- Proactive, diligent team player.
