About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage project documentation and correspondence
- Attend project meetings and distribute minutes
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and advise Project Managers of issues
- Monitor project costs and prepare estimates
- Ensure work meets Binnie’s quality standards and client expectations
- Perform site reviews
- Assist Project Managers with proposals
- Work with experienced Project Managers to provide planning, direction, and reporting for client project needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 2 years of previous related work experience in a civil engineering environment with direct exposure to Project Management or owners' representation services
- Experience in facilities and/or utilities projects is a plus
- Completed Degree/Diploma focused in Civil Engineering
- CAPM Certification is an asset
- Registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) or a GradTech with ASTTBC is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Construction experience is an asset
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive and takes action to resolve client issues
