About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver Comprehensive Results Reviews after members' on-site assessment days
  • Deliver Midyear Reviews for Black-tier members and Annual Reviews for all members
  • Conduct additional scheduled consultations throughout the year
  • Own member communications, including interval questions, lab analysis, assessment analysis and follow-up
  • Communicate risk stratification, incidental findings and uncertainty clearly and translate them into actionable plans
  • Review at-home asynchronous results, including sleep studies and CGM data, and incorporate them into member plans
  • Serve as prescriber of record for a defined set of medications
  • Coordinate with nutrition and exercise physiology teams
  • Hand off assessment context and plans with clinic teams for future assessments
  • Partner with radiology, cardiology and other specialists
  • Participate in case review and consult quality review
  • Meet regularly with the medical director regarding onboarding, performance, development and case discussion
  • Contribute to protocol development and improvement of the Biograph Method
  • Maintain accurate, compliant EMR records
  • Maintain licensure and required registrations across panel states
  • Stay current on medical literature
  • Escalate protocol exceptions, difficult findings and member issues to the medical director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Board certified; primary care background strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of practice beyond residency
  • Current unrestricted licenses in CA, NY, TX, FL, NJ, WA, CO
  • Ideally also PA, NV, OH, OR, UT, VA, CT, MA, IL, GA, with IMLC fast-track licensure eligibility or possession
  • Hold a DEA registration or be willing to obtain one
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly around risk, uncertainty and delivering complex findings in a single conversation
  • Demonstrated comfort practicing via telemedicine
  • Fluency with EHR systems, HIPAA requirements and a modern software stack; comfort adopting new clinical and data tools quickly
  • Ability to collaborate closely with colleagues you will rarely meet in person
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, scaling startup environment
  • Full-time employee, Monday through Friday, scheduled consult blocks
  • No night, weekend or holiday shifts
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to work in-office in a hybrid capacity (application question)
