About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and facilitate a portfolio of collaborative ATMP workstreams
  • Guide members in defining priorities, agreeing objectives and delivering outcomes aligned with BioPhorum strategy and governance
  • Create engaging and inclusive meetings that encourage discussion, draw out expertise and build relationships
  • Establish deliverables, manage timelines, monitor progress and keep workstreams focused
  • Synthesise complex scientific, technical and regulatory information into clear, accessible outputs
  • Develop publications, industry guidance, proof of concepts, business cases, benchmarking tools and conference presentations with members
  • Plan and facilitate virtual and in-person meetings, workshops and industry events
  • Monitor participation, identify emerging challenges and maintain member engagement and satisfaction
  • Share member insights, identify opportunities to demonstrate BioPhorum's value and improve its collaborative approach

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent scientific education and background enabling engagement with complex life sciences topics
  • Scientific education or background is essential
  • Ideally, experience within the advanced therapies industry, including cell or gene therapy, RNA therapeutics, ATMP development, manufacturing, testing or related regulatory environments
  • Experience managing projects, programmes or change initiatives, ideally within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, CDMOs or related consulting environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence, build trust, adapt communication style and engage diverse groups
  • Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of facilitating constructive discussions
  • Ability to synthesise complex information and communicate it clearly to different audiences
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities and agreed deadlines
  • Sound judgement, initiative and a bias towards action
  • Flexibility to adapt as priorities and discussions evolve
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced and growing organisation
  • Ability to commit to at least two UK trips and two international trips each year
