Bilingual Nurse Case Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage assigned patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo branch
- Facilitate the entire patient journey and ensure communication among all parties
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned healthcare providers
- Coordinate prescription drug coverage and reimbursement processes
- Complete and submit documentation to insurance companies and public funding programs
- Coordinate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals
- Coordinate clinic appointments and drug deliveries within required timelines
- Support and guide patients and healthcare providers throughout the reimbursement process
- Build trusted relationships with patients and healthcare providers
- Apply best practices to maximize patient access to drug coverage
- Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding is obtained
- Apply knowledge of public and private funding systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reimbursement processes and improve efficiency
- Enhance patient experience and satisfaction
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Qualified Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Practical Nurse with a valid license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement
- Prior oncology experience preferred
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry experience is an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English is required
- English proficiency is required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM
- Professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency on telephone calls
- Ability to organize schedules, prioritize, multitask, and meet competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
