About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical execution of the platform, translating the architecture and roadmap into sustainable, secure, testable, and operable software.
- Define engineering standards, code structure, review processes, testing, documentation, and technical Definition of Done criteria.
- Translate architecture into implementation plans, estimates, and documented decisions.
- Lead Full Stack, Data, AI, DevOps, QA, and Tools teams in resolving dependencies and technical debt.
- Ensure clean builds, CI/CD, version control, observability, and release quality.
- Lead significant technical incidents and ensure root-cause analysis and preventive actions are carried out.
- Manage complexity, performance, and technical costs without compromising security or segregation between companies.
- Deliver a technical plan for each release, engineering standards, Definition of Done, reproducible releases, technical documentation, engineering health metrics, and a prioritized technical debt backlog.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading product or platform engineering in production environments.
- Strong command of backend, frontend, APIs, databases, cloud, testing, and continuous delivery practices.
- Ability to guide decisions, review code, and develop the team without centralizing all execution.
- Knowledge of application security, observability, performance, and reliability.
- Experience with multi-tenant platforms, generative AI, or data products is a plus.
- Experience taking over, modernizing, or rebuilding legacy systems is a plus.
