About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare reconciliations of accounting accounts related to margin, OPEX, bank reconciliations, leasing, and ICO
Analyze variations in accounting balances for reporting and external audit purposes
Prepare account detail sheets and reporting packages
Prepare RIT reports for ANEEL
Evaluate internal controls in accordance with the department’s processes
Analyze GAAP differences in accounting processes
Respond to internal requests (OIPs) and support audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience in general accounting and regulatory reporting
Knowledge of accounting standards (CPC/IFRS)
SAP experience is preferred
Experience in the electric power/energy sector or with reporting to regulatory agencies (e.g., ANEEL) is a plus
Intermediate English is a plus
Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in downtown Rio de Janeiro
