About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the accounts payable cycle, including payment processing
- Prepare payment proposals
- Send daily payment status updates
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts related to accounts payable
- Monitor and reconcile advances and penalties
- Support business areas by answering questions and resolving issues
- Explain balance variances for reporting and external audit purposes
- Support compliance with SOX and DAP internal controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with accounts payable processes (Procure to Pay)
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience in a BPO or Shared Services Center environment is a plus
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Fortaleza
