About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources, both structured and unstructured
Ensure data quality, governance, and security
Collaborate with product, data science, and software engineering teams
Implement cloud-based solutions
Optimize the performance of data systems and ingestion processes
Participate in defining data architecture and best practices
Support data initiatives for digital products and personalized experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; candidates from all fields of study are welcome
Strong experience in data engineering within digital environments
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and orchestration tools such as Airflow
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
Knowledge of data modeling, data lakes, data warehouses, and event-driven architecture
Knowledge of data modeling for AI
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD
Experience with data streaming tools such as Kafka and Spark Streaming
Ability to translate data into strategic, actionable insights
Experience working in agile environments and multidisciplinary squads
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proactive approach to supporting others’ learning
Ability to leverage individual strengths and apply them effectively within the team
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and in cross-functional development
Ability to structure and propose individual and team development initiatives to leadership, with clear objectives
Preferred: knowledge of Power BI or Looker
Preferred: certifications in cloud computing or data engineering
Preferred: Salesforce CDP/Data Cloud
Preferred: experience with data for digital products, Google Analytics, or Firebase
Preferred: experience with marketing or personalization tools such as Marketing Cloud, media platforms, and MMPs
