About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand business processes and rules to validate system functionality from the user’s perspective
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for systems and new features before production deployment
Document screens, features, user instructions, validation scenarios, and UAT evidence
Identify, reproduce, and report errors and inconsistencies to Technology, describing the issue, expected behavior, and operational impact
Track fixes and validate adjustments implemented by Technology
Provide functional support to users by investigating questions and usage difficulties
Escalate technical issues to the responsible teams
Support the cleansing and updating of user records, access permissions, profiles, and documents
Act as the liaison between Accounting Support, Technology, and business areas, tracking requests and outstanding items through resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; all fields of study are welcome
Availability to work on-site at the client’s location three times per week
Experience with financial or accounting systems as a business user, key user, functional analyst, or functional support professional
Knowledge of financial or accounting routines and the ability to understand their workflows and business rules
Experience validating features, conducting system acceptance testing, or checking results and information
Ability to investigate issues, identify inconsistencies, and organize information for escalation to Technology
Strong ability to prepare functional documentation, user instructions, and incident records
Excellent communication skills for supporting users and interacting with technical and business teams
Organization, attention to detail, and analytical skills
Practical application of AI, including tools such as Devin and Windsurf
