About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development and growth of BIP’s Pre-Sales Costs department
Organize the department’s data processes
Implement data governance best practices
Ensure information quality
Support the development of strategic indicators for decision-making
Serve as a PMO, coordinating initiatives and structuring information flows
Promote the standardization of indicators and metrics
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data governance policies and standards
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and standards
Map data flows, systems, and interdependencies
Ensure comprehensive coverage of mapped information
Develop and maintain a metadata management system
Ensure metadata quality and integrity
Develop and implement data standardization and normalization standards
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data consistency
Develop programs and facilitate training on data management best practices
Implement tools and processes to monitor data quality
Generate periodic reports on quality and compliance metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree; all fields of study are welcome
Proven experience in data governance or related areas
Practical experience implementing data governance policies and programs
Familiarity with data management tools and technologies
Knowledge of databases and data modeling
Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and the Microsoft ecosystem
Experience with Data Governance tools
Knowledge of data modeling
Project Management or Data-related certifications are desirable
Business consulting experience is desirable
Data Governance certification is a plus
Certification or experience with Collibra
English and/or Spanish proficiency is desirable
