About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically and operationally manage a globally operating key account
  • Prepare analyses, reports, statistics, and sales forecasts
  • Collaborate closely with international project teams and colleagues
  • Manage tenders for international large-scale projects, including evaluating and processing complex inquiries and selling intralogistics system solutions
  • Manage projects from the planning phase through handover to downstream business units
  • Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies
  • Continuously improve and optimize products and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed commercial training with a strong technical understanding; ideally complemented by a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Several years of sales experience in project-based business, preferably in the intralogistics and steel construction industries
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • High degree of flexibility, strong results orientation, resilience, reliability, and team spirit
