About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structure, analyze, forecast and monitor BlaBlaCar’s activity and financial results
- Provide financial business partnering to the Engineering department
- Support commercial business units including Carpooling, Bus Marketplace and Train
- Support the Product & Marketing department
- Forecast, budget and perform financial analysis for Engineering, Product & Growth departments
- Present financial results to management
- Develop and maintain reports for the commercial scope
- Support the monthly reporting process and coordinate with FP&A and Accounting teams
- Review, approve and control costs to ensure financial discipline
- Review and approve Engineering contracts to ensure favorable financial terms
- Control personnel costs within the assigned scope
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or master degree in finance, economics, econometrics or similar discipline
- Previous finance experience (at least 1-2 years); FP&A experience strongly preferred
- An analytical mindset
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Eagerness to understand financial processes to collect and analyze data
- Willingness to learn
- Full working proficiency in English; advanced French strongly preferred
- Nice to have: experience in a tech company
- Nice to have: experience with a reporting tool (Pigment, TM1, Anaplan…)
- Nice to have: experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau)
