About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support to engineering teams under close supervision
- Use digital tools and design software, including CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling, to assist with technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
- Assist with creation, modification, and maintenance of technical documentation and deliverables
- Evaluate methods used in deliverable development and design activities to support continuous improvement and efficiency
- Learn and apply standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and company policies and procedures
- Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant with the BV Quality Program
- Assist with less complex deliverables based on varied design inputs
- Assist with material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
- Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize interference or errors
- Seek and share knowledge of new technologies and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or Certificate preferred
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
